After Effects and Photoshop: Animation and Production Effects for DV and Film is a great book from Jeff Foster and Sybex that has some cool tutorials and a chapter that I really enjoyed about adding some photo-realistic touches to your animations.

After Effects On the Spot: Time-Saving Tips and Shortcuts from the Pros is by Richard Harrington, Rachel Max, and Marcus Geduld. I've chatted with Rachel Max over email a few times over the past couple of years and she is a really talented artist with an impressive resume. I haven't had a chance to check this book out quite yet, but CMP books are always excellent. You may be familiar with Creating Motion Graphics with After Effects, Volume 1: The Essentials, Creating Motion Graphics with After Effects: Volume 2: Advanced Techniques and After Effects in Production by Trish and Chris Meyer, all published by CMP.
