The Sad Song is like nothing I've ever seen or heard. The music is absolutely lovely and the video looks simple, but really is complex and tedious.

According to Fredo Viola, the artist and musician, "it was shot entirely out of sync with a little coolpix775 camera on its side, using the 15 seconds of 15fps video capture capabilities". It's pretty large - 34 MB, but it's in a super wide-screen format and has a unique layout.

"Syncing all of these little clips for each of the 5 vocal lines in After Effects was a nightmare, as my camera is silent!" he says. "And then sometimes I hit the button it didn't record and I didn't notice until it was too late because the light had changed!"
