This really makes me wish I was living in L.A. (as if leaving the 20° temperatures wasn't enough reason!)
Curious gFx Pro, a pro app that allows you to paint, retouch and rotoscope in television, HD and film. Curious gFX Pro is the new choice for visual effects artists and post production professionals to complete their visual effects shots quicker and with better results.

Visual effects artist Lee Croft will present a demo on
Magic Bullet, covering 60i to 24p conversion, footage mastering and film-like look for your video and HD projects. Magic Bullet is a workhorse plug-in that converts the video sources to 24p and helps you reduce some of the artifacts present in digital video footage. If you're a Final Cut Pro or Adobe After Effects user, you won't want to miss this excellent demonstration of how to convert your DV projects into more of a "film-look".
For anyone interested, Lee will also demo FilmFix, designed for documentary filmmakers and post production studios that need film and video restoration tools. FilmFix can be used to restore tears, remove dust and dirt particles, and stabilize footage originated on film and video resolution material transferred from film. The processing is nearly automatic and provides high-quality output.
All video professional and post production enthusiasts are encouraged to attend these free demonstrations.
