Noise Industries Factory Tools are available on our demos page. If you run Avid in Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger, this plug-in package is amazing. The terminology is a bit complex to my little brain, so I spoke with Niclas Bahn from Noise Industries last week and had him explain it to me.... In short sentences.
Like to know why this plug-in will blow your mind?
Why is this plug-in package so interesting?
- It runs on the new video processing architecture in Tiger so it is fast! Things like blurs and color corrections, which you can find comparable versions in other plug-ins, will be three times faster. At least.
- The product is infinitely expandable. The number of included ffects is high, plus there are more freebies on the site. These free effects are meant to educate customers on how to expand the program and make your own effects.
- You can build your own plug-ins and make them run in your Avid. In addition, you can share them through the Noise Industries website or even sell them, if they're really good.
The effects are built in a node-based compositor in the Developer Tools of Tiger called Quartz Composer. It allows you to make use of the new video processing architecture. The results can be used with their tool can be converted, with the help of Factory Tools, into AVX plug-ins. (Quartzcompositions.com is a community around this node-based compositor. )
Third-party developers are sitting down and creating effect libraries too. Actually, their "fourth-party developers", come to think of it. Noise Industries is the third-party developer.
Factory Tools is bundled with AVX Pro and MC Adrenaline Tiger compatible version.
