This week's Freebie of the Week pays homage to an American classic, Star Wars. It uses the Advanced Text Engine in After Effects and some creative tranformation to get the correct angle.... and this IS the correct angle and color. I found some information that went REALLY deep into the whole technical aspect of it.

The starfield was created with a preset in Trapcode Particular. You don't necessarily need this to get the full effect, but it's one of my favorite plug-ins.
