Guests Matt Plec, Product Manager for Nuke from The Foundry and Dan Berube of the Boston Final Cut Pro User Group. The usual suspects, Phillip Hodgetts and Michele Yamazaki talk to hosts Alan and Keith about all sorts of fun stuff. Sponsored by Adobe, Digital Production Buzz and the Digital CONNtent Creators.
Matt Plec has enjoyed a variety of roles in the post production industry. He got his start doing 3D animation, compositing, and tool development for a variety of studios including Atomix, D-Rez, and Rhythm & Hues before joining Nothing Real’s Shake team. Following the acquisition of Nothing Real, Matt went on to ESC Entertainment, taking responsibility for the 2D pipeline. After ESC’s closure, he signed on at Sony Pictures Imageworks as Senior Technical Director and was quickly tasked with developing compositing features of the company’s next generation lighting and compositing package. In 2007, Matt joined The Foundry as Team Leader on the Nuke development team.
Hopefully we'll have a bio for Dan Berube up soon, too.
