This is a free maintenance release for workstations with a version 2 license. If you have not yet tried Sapphire 2, you can install 2.01 now to start your 3-week free trial.

Here is a summary of what's new in Sapphire 2.01:

• Performance and memory efficiency is improved for AE 7 and CS3 SmartFX.
• A problem with Premiere Pro on quad-core Macs is fixed.
• Messages saying "Can't checkout input" are avoided, which could occur in large projects with AE 7 and CS3.
• Various issues are fixed with Vignette, Distort, Glow, DropShadow, Convolve, Cartoon and Posterize.
• The Windows installer offers to install the plug-ins for Fusion 5.2.
