Q: What is the difference between the Adobe Video Collection and Adobe Video Bundle on the upgrade?
A: Adobe Video Collection 2.5, which was released in 2004 and contained AE 6.5 is NOT the Adobe Video Bundle (Production Studio + Flash Pro), and is a collection of individual software products, each with their own serial number, unlike the "Suites" that have a universal serial number for every product in the Suite. Therefore, to upgrade from The Adobe Video Collection to Production Premium, you would want to choose Path 3 (upgrading from a single product), and use one of the serial numbers from that collection.
General Creative Suite 4 Questions
Q: I've heard that the CS4 disks are dual platform. Is that correct?
A: The majority of the CS4 product discs are not dual platform. The CS4 Production Premium products, including After Effects and the Creative Suite itself, have single platform discs. Though some of the CS4 products are dual platform, the license allows you to install on only one platform. Flash Professional is dual-platform.
