Luca Visual FX XLayers for FCPX

XLayers for FCPX is a pack of templates with 12 effects and 7 generators.  It extends the collection started with XOverlays.

XLayers was designed for music video, promos, sport, travel, news, corporate productions and more. Use this collection of visual effects to add unique looks and creative stylization that can be extensively customized.

Many of the 19 templates allow editors to implement their own footage thanks to the drop zones provided. Generators like Concentric Free Shapes and Concentric Images can create stunning effects particularly when using footage from the same source with slight time differences.

Stylization is often used to maximize the quality and creativity of a given video and that’s where XLayers can help. The pack offers different solutions for different productions and each plugin comes with a generous number of parameters to modify a given effect to taste and make it either stand out boldly or appear as a soft touch added to the images. The generators have the additional advantage to enable users to apply filters, color correction and transform tools and massively increase the customization potential.

Furthermore by keyframing position, scaling, opacity etc. of each of the customizable elements composing each generator the user can create intriguing motion graphics that can vary from image fragmentation simulation to creative overlayering of different video clips.
