Picture Book is one of my favorite commercials. It's just so well done. This page has the commercials and a description of how Picture Book was done. Basically, they used After Effects and a Flame and a lot of tracking.

The commercial was done by Francois Vogel, a director at Tool of North America. The Trois Petits Chats (Three little cats, if my French I picked up in Montreal this past summer serves). It's a VR looking video. Very cool.
