311's 'Don't Tread On Me' (pops) video was directed by a team called Colourmovie. The entire video was shot over green screen on a sound stage. The video is an impressively balances the performing band keyed over hand drawn elements like illustrated flowers and trees, juxtaposed with high-speed photography of smoke, time-lapse clouds and explosions. Trapcode's 3D Stroke is used throughout.
Apple Final Cut Pro, Adobe Illustrator, Alias Maya, Adobe After Effects were used on Apple workstations to edit, animate elements, and composite the final video.
