When I say unlock completely... what does that mean? I had a chat with David Helmly from Adobe yesterday and he explained that many of codecs in the video suite are not in the trial version because Adobe licenses those codecs and can't put them in the trial. As soon as you put your serial number in, the codecs are unlocked and will appear.
Adobe is still working on getting all the trial versions up on their site, but you can sign up for notification about when they'll be ready.

Well, the votes are tallied and Trapcode Form is the big winner of the Best New After Effect Plug-in of 2007. Only brand new plug-ins that were released in 2007 qualified, not new versions of older plug-ins. Red Giant Magic Bullet Looks and Zaxwerks Reflector ran a close race.
Harry has created a promo for his Trapcode Form training so you can watch it to see if it is something you want to buy. If you haven't played with Trapcode Form, let me tell you, it's so incredibly cool. It has dozens of settings and hundreds, if not millions, of variations you can create. All of these settings can be a bit daunting, so Harry has created a four part training series that will get you comfy with Trapcode Form.

Trapcode Suite 2008 includes 3D Stroke, Lux, Particular, Form, Starglow, Shine, Sound Keys and Echospace. Form was added to the bundle but the price did not increase. Gotta love that!

Ryan Graham at Microfilmmaker Magazine reviews Avidion Real 3D, a fantastic plug-in for Adobe After Effects. It may be a plug-in you're not entirely familiar with because it doesn't (yet) have the brand recognition of Trapcode or Boris, so I encourage you to download a demo of Real 3D and try it out. After reading the review, you'll be dying to get your fingers on it!

The long awaited Trapcode Form (codenamed Flux) is now available. Trapcode Form is a grid-based 3D particle system with a twist. It can be used to create fluid, organic patterns, complex geometric structures and swirling stringy animations etc and it can be used to visualize audio. Form works in AE 7 and later.

Native Support Added for Both Intel and PowerPC-based Macs
Wilmington, NC - November 12, 2007 - Digieffects, a developer of popular software plug-ins for Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, and Autodesk Combustion today announced that Universal Binary versions of Delirium, Berserk, and Aurorix are now available for Intel-based Macintosh computers.
Digieffects Delirium, Berserk, and Aurorix are now compatible with Universal Binary applications such as Adobe After Effects CS3, Adobe Premiere CS3, and Final Cut Pro 6. Since Delirium, Berserk, and Aurorix are backwards compatible, these programs will still run natively on Power PC-based Mac computers.
Existing Delirium, Berserk, and Aurorix customers moving to the Intel-based Macintosh platform can download free updates from the Digieffects web site.
Note: Universal Binary versions of Digieffects Fantazm, Buena Effects Pack, and Buena Depth Cue will be available in early 2008.

CHV Particles Heaven FX is an incredible new FxPlug plug-in for Final Cut Pro and Motion. It's the first real FxPlug particle emitter and if the previous CHV plug-ins are any indication, this plug-in totally rocks. We've added lots of Quicktime examples to the store page.
The CHV FxPlug Bundle has also been updated to 08-2007 (CHV uses dates instead of point numbers for the bundles, which actually makes a lot of sense. The Bundle now includes Particles Heaven FX.
