It is being released in conjunction with the upcoming Second Annual Amsterdam FCPUG SuperMeet which takes place on Sunday, 13 September at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
The SuperMag is a collaborative, user-authored digital magazine written by some of the world's leading creative professionals in the editing and digital filmmaking community. This SuperMag was originally released as part of a DVD collection of Final Cut Studio resources to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Final Cut Pro at the Eighth Annual NAB FCPUG SuperMeet in Las Vegas this past April 2009.
"The contributors to SuperMag have been very generous in sharing their experiences and solutions with us," states Daniel Berube, Editor-In-Chief of the SuperMag and Co-Producer of the FCPUG Network SuperMeets along with Michael Horton of the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group. This is indeed a global effort and with the SuperMag, we wish to motivate and inspire today's digital filmmaker to action."
"Issue three of the SuperMag features tutorials ranging from 'Making Home Movies' all the way to Final Cut Server/FCP workflows. There is something in the SuperMag for everyone," adds Horton. "The entire magazine is all about hands-on solutions and proven workflow methods that are sure to help every production and post-production person in the industry. The SuperMag's 33 contributing authors and editors combined have done a brilliant job in this respect and it is only right that we mention them as they all deserve a lot of credit."

Steve Audette, Senior Editor for the PBS public affairs series FRONTLINE, will discuss his recent work and workflow on the documentary ENDGAME.
As the United States begins one final effort to secure victory through a "surge" of troops, FRONTLINE investigates how strategic and tactical mistakes brought Iraq to civil war. The film recounts how the early mandate to create the conditions for a quick exit of the American military led to chaos, failure, and sectarian strife. Endgame traces why the president decided to risk what military planners once warned could be the worst way to fight in Iraq -- door-to-door -- and assesses the likelihood of its success. Top administration figures, military commanders, and journalists offer inside details about the new strategy.
ENDGAME is Mr. Audette's 39 credit as editor for FRONTLINE. His work has contributed to many Emmy award-winning documentaries, as well as numerous Peabody and Dupont award-winning programs. He has been recently nominated to join the esteemed members of America Cinema Editors.
