System ID Information for The Foundry Products
What's my System ID?
Note: A machine's system ID is a unique code required to license products from The Foundry. The Foundry System ID (FSID) utility will report the same system ID of a machine that our software will use when looking for a licence. Select one of the links below to download it.
If you are purchasing a node-locked license, run the FSID on the machine which the software will be running on.
Floating licenses are managed by a machine on your network acting as a license server. When buying a floating license, you need to enter the System ID of the machine on your network which will act as the licence server. In order to use a floating license, you need to install the Foundry FLEXlm Tools (FFT) on your license server.
