How do I find my SMS number for text messaging?
Put your phone number with area code and your mobile phone carrier.
| Alltel | AreaCode+MobileNumber@alltelmessage.com |
| Alltel (alternate) | AreaCode+MobileNumber@message.alltel.com |
| Former AT&T users on Cingular | AreaCode+MobileNumber@mmode.com |
| Cellular One | AreaCode+MobileNumber@mobile.celloneusa.com |
| Cingular | 1+AreaCode+MobileNumber@mobile.mycingular.com |
| Nextel | AreaCode+MobileNumber@page.nextel.com |
| OmnipointPCS | AreaCode+MobileNumber@omnipointpcs.com |
| Qwest | AreaCode+MobileNumber@qwestmp.com |
| Sprint (US) | AreaCode+MobileNumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com |
| T-Mobile | AreaCode+MobileNumber@tmomail.net |
| Verizon (including AirTouch) | AreaCode+MobileNumber@vtext.com |
| Verizon (including AirTouch) for pictures (MMS) | AreaCode+MobileNumber@vzwpix.com |
| Virgin Mobile (US customers only) | AreaCode+MobileNumber@vmobl.com |
| All carriers | AreaCode+MobileNumber@teleflip.com |
For example, if you're a T-Mobile customer, your text message email might be 4155553872@tmomail.net. That's a fake number, so don't try it ;-)
