Digital Film Tools is an offshoot of Digital FilmWorks, a full service, Los Angeles based visual effects studio our work includes hundreds of feature films, commercials and television shows 55mm is the result of many years of visual effects experience which packages into one set of plug-ins many of Digital FilmWorks' in-house, proprietary software tools tools which photographers, artists and editors won't want to be without.

Marco Paolini is the President of Digital Film Tools and the Senior Visual Effects Artist at Digital !FilmWorks in Los Angeles, CA. Over the years, his visual effects, commercials, music videos, and documentaries have brought him numerous Telly and Addy awards. Prior to Digital FilmWorks, Marco worked his way up through the special effects ranks, advancing from videotape operator, to editor, to effects editing and finally to digital compositing. Most recently, he was with Avid Technology where he worked with feature film and video special effects customers on their projects as well as determine future directions for their graphics software. His feature film special effects work can be seen in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Anna and the King, Men of Honor, Red Planet, Exit Wounds, Moulin Rouge, Behind Enemy Lines, The One, Collateral Damage, Duplex, The Italian Job, The Last Samurai and The Terminal.

Peter W. Moyer is the President and Owner of Digital FilmWorks, a Los Angeles based visual effects company. Starting his career in Philadelphia, Peter worked as an editor on The Mike Douglas Show and while at KYW-TV won two Emmy awards for art direction and editing. In 1987, Peter was recruited by The Post Group and moved to the West Coast. Within two years, he was the visual effects editor of such high-profile series as Star Trek: The Next Generation and Mission Impossible". Peter's work in Pee Wee's Playhouse earned him a third Emmy for videotape editing in 1989 and his visual effects compositing for The Flash captured him a Monitor Award in 1991. Peter left The Post Group in 1995 to concentrate on his newly formed company, Digital FilmWorks. Specializing in feature films, Peter currently supervises visual effects at Digital FilmWorks, which includes coming up with innovative solutions to everyday special effects challenges.
