Node-locked vs. Floating Licenses

Floating license
A floating license means anyone on the network can use the application, up to the limit specified in the license file. Floating licenses are also referred to as "concurrent" licenses or "network" licenses.

Node-locked
A node-locked license means the software can only be used on one machine, or on any machine that has the specified dongle in the case of a dongle-based license.
