What's New in FxFactory Pro 2.0.7?

This Free Update brings many new products based on FxFactory: idustrial revolution Volumetrix 2, Motype 1.2, DVShade EasyLooks 2.5 and Boinx FxTiles 1.0.

Current FxFactory Pro customers get three new plug-ins in this release: the “PDF Animator” and “Perlin Noise” generators, and the “Alpha Merger” filter in the color correction category.

What's New in FxFactory Pro 2.0.6?

This Free Update adds support for Adobe After Effects CS3 and CS4. The new version allows users to run their existing FxFactory plug-ins inside the new host. No product activations or separate purchases are needed.

Four new plug-ins are included in this release for FxFactory Pro users: the "Random Close-Up" filter in the "NI Distort" category, the "Upscale" filter in the "NI Video" category, the "Cube" and "Blocks Dissolve" and “Whoosh” transitions in the “NI Transitions” category, and the "Banding Free" generator in the "NI Generators" category. The “Random Crop” plug-in has been significantly improved, adding more animation controls to one of the most popular plug-ins in FxFactory Pro. Also includes support for the newly released Adobe After Effects CS4(AE CS4) application.

New thumbnail previews allow you to quickly find the right effect for your project by providing a small preview of each FxFactory plug-in inside the host application menus. This feature is currently available for the “Video Filters” and “Video Transitions” menus in Final Cut Pro and Final Cut Express, and for all plug-ins under the “Effects” menu in Adobe After Effects.

Other Changes

  • Added support for hardware accelerated anti-aliasing in plug-ins running inside Final Cut Pro, Motion and Final Cut Express (this feature was previously available only when running inside Adobe After Effects).
  • Added new preferences to the FxFactory application that control how plug-ins communicate images with FxPlug hosts. The new feature allows plug-ins to render in high-precision on systems with low available video memory. If you experience frequent rendering errors inside Final Cut Pro, please contact support@noiseindustries.com for assistance in using this new functionality.
  • FxFactory now allows plug-ins to load on systems with unsupported graphics hardware (such as the Intel GMA 950 and X3100). A warning will inform users when unsupported hardware has been found.
  • Fixed the Mix slider functionality when filters are applied to groups inside Motion.

Please note that this new version requires Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and it will only work with Final Cut Pro 6 and Motion 3. If you are still running Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger, Final Cut Pro 5.1 and/or Motion 2.1.2 please continue using the previous version instead.
