Founded in 1999, The Orphanage, Inc., a Los Angeles and San Francisco based vfx production company, has steadily grown from boutique shop to a facility capable of handling studio tentpoles. The Orphanage's staff of more than 160 artists, has created visual effects for more than two dozen major films including such blockbusters as Superman Returns (Warner Bros.), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (Disney), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (Warner Bros), Sin City (Dimension) and The Day After Tomorrow (Fox) as well as dozens of commercials for the top agencies worldwide. Recent clients include: Microsoft, BMW, Comcast, Toshiba, Dolby and IBM/Lenovo, to name a few.
In its brief history, The Orphanage has established a reputation for delivering inspiring creative work, technical innovation and the highest quality service available.
