Description
Echospace takes the tedium out of working with multiple layer instances in After Effects. Begin with an image, text, footage, or even compositions, and Echospace will create multiple versions of that layer which can be controlled as a group or individually. Movement and effects can ripple through the stack - with offset and delay controls and much more.

Highlights
Make layers painlessly
Creates dozens or hundreds of instances of footage, text, or solids as individual 3D layers within After Effects. These layers can even cast shadows on each other or be animated individually or as a group.
Rendering options
Echospace's layers can be rendered either with After Effects' OpenGL preview engine for quick previews in the Composition window, or with the OpenGL option in the render queue for faster final output. Either way, you'll take full advantage of After Effects' GPU acceleration and get lightning-fast rendering speeds.
Sophisticated animation
Instead of hand-tweaking hundreds of individual layers, EchoSpace allows you to apply the same motion to sequences of layers as a group, with specific time delays or offsets in 3D space. Get sophisticated falling-domino or follow-the-leader-style animations in seconds without time-consuming layer-by-layer updates.
Examples
Echo Delay
A simple animation that shows a series of rectangles rotating sequentially around horizontal and vertical axes. The set-up is simple, and it saves hours of hand-keyframing because of the easy to use cascading animation controls in Echospace.
Echo Kaleid
Echospace is used here to make several shapes rotate kaleidoscopically around a central axis, then rotate independently and straighten into a line. Echospace is used to control the cascading rotation of the object. Because the object are true 3D objects in After Effects, the plug-in maintains interactive lighting and shadows in the scene.

Our tests have shown that our products perform best when used with the system configurations listed below. Although many of our products will run on older or less-powerful systems, those listed below are the minimum system requirements which we support.

Trapcode Echospace runs only in After Effects. Each purchase and serial number allows the owner to use the product on more than one host application, but only on a single computer at any one time. Except where noted, the features are the same in all operating systems.
