Trapcode's Form (was Flux) is the next must-buy cool-look plug-in. Combines many of the complex looks of Particular with the near-instant-gratification of Shine. The couple of examples Peder showed using displacement maps and alpha mattes were particularly impressive; you'll see this is movies, music videos, etc. (and the more abstract looks will be flooding stock footage libraries...).

Trapcode Form is the groundbreaking new concept for a particle system. With Form, users will be able to produce beautiful fluid, flowing organic shapes, and other mesmerizing geometric moving 3D patterns. Formlux will include numerous customizable presets and plenty of parameters for advanced users who want to create their own unique looks to stun their clients. Form is scheduled for release this summer and pricing will be announced at that time.

At NAB a representitive said that "Trapcode Form is a work-in-progress so any suggestions are welcome after the demos. The basic functionality is to create fluid, smoke, organic and also geometric mezmerizingly moving 3D patterns that can easily be integrated with other graphics." Sounds awesome, doesn't it!
