ViviClip Video Filters 3 Pro offers professional filters and robust reference tools to ensure quality and consistency over a broadcast production.

Following are the major features found in this plug-in:

Five selective processing layers

Process your clip through five powerful processing layer engines. Each layer applies its set of filters for a selected complex region and a color range. Remove unprocessed parts to create picture-in-picture (PiP) effects in your editor. Change global opacity.

Quick pro color correction

Change global hue and saturation. Set chrominance offset with a simple click in a wheel. Correct shadows, midtones and highlights separately. Create easy progressive tint lenses effects and other color tricks with layers.

Intelligent automatic visual-style color matching

With a simple button click, match the visual-style of a video clip with another. No need to define parameters. Only a button click! Perfect for scenes normalization.

Draw objects contours to process regions selectively

Define regions directly on your current frame preview using polygons and other basic shapes. Scale and translate them in time. Blend contours for a softer effect. Inverse selection if needed.

Real-time parameters adjustments preview with DV

Connect a DV camcorder or device to your computer and preview your clip current frame in real-time while adjusting parameters. No need to release a slider to see the actual result!

Film effect

Simulate 24 frames per second and apply complex soften to achieve film effect.

Skin Soften

Use soften filter and selective layer color range to achieve skin soften. Soften filter preserves important subtle contrasts.

External reference video clips frames

Have up to two reference clip frames at hand for color matching in addition to your current video clip. Also compare color bars this way or with the new effect splitter tool. Frames can come from different clips.

Intelligent automatic white/neutral balance tool

With a single click on what you consider a neutral color in your current clip frame, change white balance.

Recuperate bad takes and apply noise reduction

Even dark clips can be revived with input luminance histogram and black stretch parameter. Also reduce grain in your clip with adapted filters.

Productive integrated interface environment

No need to go in submenus. Everything is at hand. All windows can be resized and moved. While working, use the zoom tools to closely analyze the modifications and the temporary brighten state while working with dark scenes. Use the new effect splitter tool to compare "before" and "after" processed image.

Sharpen, chrominance and motion blur

Sharpen clips with Gaussian methods. Blur only the chrominance part of your video signal to create aesthetic bleached effect. If you prefer, blur video signal in time to create motion ghost traces; perfect for sophisticated generics.

Perspective adjustments

Adjust distorted clips in space and time.

Private keyframes

Create spectacular zooms, "out-of-focus" effects, motion paths, rotations. System interpolates positions between keyframes. Most parameters are keyframeable.

Waveform meter, vectorscope and legalization

Follow your output video signal with these tools. Add your external reference clip frames content all at once to compare! Use internal color bars levels. Finally, legalize your work; add optional black setup.

Factory templates

Many templates are bundled with the software to avoid recreating common effects. Save your own on disk.

Video formats

Standard formats are supported (DV, analog, uncompressed). The system accepts, among other frame rates, NTSC 29.97 fps timecode notation. All filters processing is made in the luminance/chrominance color system (same as for DV), reducing possible computing errors.
