This is VERY Well Done

This was excellent. The presenter was very good, showed each step in detail, explained the settings and what each setting does, and how to go back and make adjustments. He also showed pictures of forests and explained what to look for and how to model it. I also enjoyed all the tips and features of Cinema 4D that I was not aware of and have been able to use them on other projects. His understanding of photography was a great bonus for the tutorial and made adjustments to the model to make the final renders more photo-realistic. This may seem obvious to others, but as a long time photographer I always made adjustments to the renderer as a photographer would do with a camera and not think to adjust the scene. I know, obvious, but not to me. I normally do not leave reviews, but I was so impressed with this tutorial and the instructor that I just had to say something. And to whoever the instructor is, thanks, and hope you do more.

I'm biased...

...as I am the author of Artitude, but you don't give any specifics and I am not currently aware of any bugs. You may contact me at psheffield at straylight.tv to enlighten me, thanks!

Instead of a lot of work -- an hour in batch mode.

I have produced so far 1,200 tutorials in the past decade. I have encountered a lot of recording conditions. The following review is based on 50 tutorials which I have had recorded while the computer was howling during a hot summer (no AC!) in L.A.: I bought iZotope's RX4. (Sound Repair) Not to make advertisement, but after 20+ years of using a dozen different packages for audio so far, this is my favorite. What typically took weeks to do, does it in batch mode and better than anything I owned before. I'm really grateful. I have 50 more tutorials to publish on my G+ account (Photography for 3D Artists) and I was not happy with the sound of these 50, ... it took me a week to get something acceptable out of it. Yesterday, after receiving iZotope's RX4, I batched these in an hour, better than ever. "Dialog Denoise", what a wonderful tool. The loud fan gone to a level that I like to have. Thanks iZotope.

Artitude

Spent hours attempting to make Artitude work and even with the help of FXFactory, it does not work. The bugs in the software merit a serious overhall.

One of the most comprehensive packs of interesting SFX around

If you've dabbled in promos and opening titles you know how important your music selection and sound effects selection is. If you need a gear mechanism loading and unloading, epic swishes, or even the most monstrous impacts you found it in Video CoPilot's MotionPulse SFX library. There are a couple of sound effects that sound a little muffled, mostly the under water sfx (which makes sense but still...)
