Re:Vision Effects Transfer floating license server to new machine

If you are moving your RE:Vision Effects floating license server to a new computer, below are the instructions. This is the fee to transfer a RE:Vision Effects floating license to a new computer.

Instructions:

1. Set up the new license server. Make sure it works before you decommission your older server.
   
2. Run the license server removal program on the OLD server. You are removing a node-locked piece of software, as the server itself is node-locked. Do not do this on the new server or the server won’t be able to run on the new machine!
   
   Download the rvlrmNodeLock program
   
   Run the license server removal with this command: rvlrmNodeLock rvlserver
   
   This will make it so the server can’t be run on that machine in the future.
   
3. Send us the file the program rvlrmNodeLock creates along with your order number for this product. Your order will include both the old and new server names and MAC addresses.
