Tutorial by Maltaanon. This is a follow-up to the introduction to 3D Camera Tracker tutorial by Maltaanon. Learn the do's and don't's of the match-moving process in After Effects CS6.
Imagineer systems Product Manager Martin Brennand takes you through using the mocha Camera Solver for a shot that is difficult to solve with point tracking.
An overview/tutorial of the new 3D camera tracker in Adobe After Effects CS6 by Matt's Macintosh channel on YouTube. Good stuff.
Post by Matthew Perks/ AEtuts+. Use puppet pins tracked to motion data from dots on a face to animate a face or other objects in your scene.
Product Manager Martin Brennand takes you through how to use the camera solver to get the 3D data of a moving planar object. Also covers unlink tracking, 3D export to After Effects and attaching 3D particles from Trapcode Particular.
With a camera solve you are normally solving from static areas in the scene (Walls, floors, rocks, etc), but when you want to capture anything moving, a little extra work is needed.
Post by Mathias Möhl/ Mamoworld: "In this tutorial you learn how to turn a graffiti painting on a wall into a living person. This effect is inspired by the Brush With Death clip."
Maltaannon presents the new 3D Camera Tracker in After Effects CS6, a new feature to CS6.
RedGiantTv's Seth Worley shows you how to create this cool looking Sweeper Effect (Inspired by Ridley Scott’s new film Prometheus) in After Effects using Foundry’s Camera Tracker, Trapcode Particular and other techniques.
Post by Andrew Kramer/ Video Copilot: "In this new tutorial we’ll composite the interior of an airplane as the wing bursts into flames. We’ll cover green screen keying, 3D tracking with Camera Tracker, particles and compositing live action elements. I’ve also included a dropping Oxygen mask in the project file for people that want to add an extra layer!"
Create a 3D set extension with fog using Stock Footage. Use Camera Tracker to matchmove inside of AE.
Post by Joren at The Pixel Lab. "In this supersized tutorial series, I’m going to go over the workflow to complete a 3D track using the new Foundry Camera Tracker in After Effects. In this first part we will go over the After Effects side of things. In the next tutorial we will head over into Cinema 4D where we will add 3D objects using the 3D track data! This is an amazing workflow, made possible by the Foundry Camera Tracker and the new Maxon Cinema4D Export plugin for After Effects."
Learn about using the Foundry Camera Tracker with Maxon Cinema 4D. Tutorial by AETuts+by Alexander Lehnert.
Posted by Kert Gartner at VFX Haiku. "In this tutorial, we take a look at how to track an object that goes off screen with Adobe After Effects."
Posted by Stefan Surmabojov on AEtuts+: "How to work with footage that is out of focus making if difficult to track. After we track it we are going to attach the camera interface elements and fake some depth of field to create the illusion that they are floating in space and shift in and out of focus like the rest of the scene."
Speed up your color grading and finishing! This video tutorial teaches how to do primary, secondary and some pretty advanced color correction in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5. You’ll learn how to create masks for color correction inside of Premiere Pro, and to tweak parts of the image without affecting others. You’ll learn how to use Jarle’s Grading Tools (a collection of useful presets) to speed up your own color grading workflow.
Also covered are some common finishing techniques like how to fix moiré, blown-out highlights, blue sky fix, sharpening, letterboxing, noise reduction, stabilizing and scaling/crop.
In this new free tutorial using footage from Artbeats, we'll look at creating a Day for Night scene using Imagineer Systems mocha to do the tracking and roto work. Then we bring that data into Adobe After Effects to do the compositing work.
Create the energy beam for a Harry Potter-style magic fight using HitFilm Ultimate.
In this tutorial, Martin Brennand, the senior product specialist from Imagineer Systems shows how to convert 2D film to stereoscopic 3D. Mocha Pro is used for the roto and clean plating, Freeform Pro is used for the extrusion and a useful script breaks down the masks into luminance depth graded by layer order.
Project files for CS5 & CS5.5, AE script & mocha Pro project are included.
