• This can also be done with Particle Playground, with the Grid settings. Check the manual if you are not sure how.

Apply FE Ball Action to a talking head for a cool effect, like pictures on a huge screen at a hockey game. The sample file uses a still for download purposes, but believe me, moving footage looks better.

Instructions

1. Apply FE Ball Action to an image.
2. Set the following:
   Grid Spacing: 1
   Ball size: 0.6
   Anti-aliasing: High
   Best Quality
3. Scale the layer to 200%.
4. Leave the rest at the defaults or tweak away. You are the artist!
