Highlights

What's New in Creative Cloud 2017?

  • The Adobe XD Beta is the only all-in-one tool for designing and prototyping mobile apps and websites. We’ve fine-tuned it with new workflows that make iteration, exploration and collaboration easier than ever. It now offers layers and symbols support, commenting on shared prototypes, and mobile apps for iOS and Android with real-time design and prototype
  • Project Felix is a new app that empowers the creation of photo-realistic compositions combining 3D and 2D assets. It is a strong complement to Photoshop, and it’s easy to use, even for those who aren’t a 3D expert.
  • Video Updates: We’re pushing video effects further than ever before with the new Cinema 4D rendering engine in After Effects, a VR feature in Premiere Pro that seamlessly detects and applies content settings, and Character Animator that brings characters to life using your own artwork and expressions. With every one of these improvements, we’ve kept workflow efficiency in mind, making it easier to co-edit and optimize video delivery across social channels.
  • Desktop Design App Updates: We’ve added over 85 new features to our core desktop apps like a universal search bar in Photoshop and stock templates, and we’re enhancing control of design with updates like Pixel-perfect artwork in Illustrator, an enhanced Properties Panel in Photoshop and a modern new interface and fast, flexible coding engine in Dreamweaver.
  • Mobile App Updates: We’ve increased the creative power and workflow efficiency for the Creative Cloud mobile apps, and all are now available on Android.
  • Adobe Marketplace: We are adding a new class of photography to Adobe Stock through a partnership with Reuters, the largest independent news agency and source of editorial In the next few months, Reuters’ complete coverage of all major news, sports, business, entertainment and lifestyle events will be available – directly through Adobe Stock. That means Adobe Stock customers will have access to an archive of 12 million images and 1.5 million videos, while 2300 images and 200 new videos are added per day. We also announced Typekit marketplace, a new way to find, buy, and use more than 10,000 premium typefaces from the world’s leading type foundries.
  • And finally, we announced Adobe Sensei, a new framework and set of intelligent services that automate mundane tasks, allowing creatives to spend more time on inspiration and design.

What's new in CC 2015?

Creative Cloud for teams gives you the world's best creative tools to do amazing work and drive powerful business results. With the 2015 release, all the apps and assets you need—including Adobe Stock images—are right at your fingertips across desktops and mobile devices. Creative Cloud for teams offers tons of features that are not available in Creative Suite, including new creative tools, performance boosts, and touch workflows to help you work faster. Connected mobile apps extend the power of the desktop to your iOS and Android devices. And best of all, these upgrades are included in your ongoing membership at no additional cost.

Here are some of the latest features in Creative Cloud for teams.

Added June 2015

Adobe Creative Cloud
Creative Cloud for teams makes collaboration easier then ever, so you can get more done in less time. Thanks to Adobe CreativeSync technology, everything is connected, so you can maintain design consistency across projects, stay on top of changes, and work better together. Securely sync creative files, folders, and settings from your desktop, tablet, and smartphone. Create and share images, brushes, text styles, colors, and more with Creative Cloud Libraries and access them from anywhere. And keep all your assets—including images from the new Adobe Stock service—at your fingertips.

Adobe Stock
Jump start your creative projects by quickly searching 40 million high-quality images and graphics in the new Adobe Stock image service. It’s conveniently integrated into CC desktop apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and more. Just save images to your Creative Cloud Libraries and then access them directly from inside your favorite desktop apps. You can buy Adobe Stock with new Creative Cloud for teams purchases or simply add it to your existing membership.

Adobe Photoshop CC
Find the perfect image with the brand new Adobe Stock service, and add it directly to your Photoshop designs via your Creative Cloud Libraries. With improved Creative Cloud Libraries, your assets are always at your fingertips, and you can easily share them with your creative team. Design multiscreen layouts in a single Photoshop file with new artboards. Get real-time previews of your mobile app and mobile web designs with Device Preview. Quickly export your images and designs with New Asset Export. And take advantage of faster performance thanks to Mercury Graphics Engine enhancements.

Adobe After Effects CC
Track faces with exceptional accuracy by managing the level of detail you track. Simple mask tracking lets you quickly apply effects only to a face, such as selective color correction or blurring a face. You can also track specific points on the face such as pupils, mouth, and nose. The new After Effects also lets you work faster with Uninterrupted Previews. View design iterations, adjust properties, and even resize panels without stopping playback of your compositions.

Adobe Muse CC
Adobe Typekit web fonts are now available in the Adobe Muse font menu, giving you direct access to thousands of quality, premium fonts. Download new Adobe Muse add-ons to add new elements to your site, such as a shopping cart, a blog, or tables. You can also add radio buttons and checkboxes to enable site visitors to select single or multiple options in a contact form.

Adobe Flash Professional CC
Animate objects by linking a series of symbols together with the new Bone tool. Stay focused on the timeline and stage with a streamlined workspace for animators. Export all of the bitmaps in your HTML5 Canvas project as a single sprite sheet. Even split audio files directly on the timeline to coordinate blank frames as you animate.

Adobe Illustrator CC
Add a fresh image or graphic to your composition from the new Adobe Stock service in no time right from within Illustrator. Keep your favorite assets handy with improved Creative Cloud Libraries. Pan, zoom, and scroll up to 10 times faster with new performance improvements. View and finesse the finest details in your most demanding artwork with 10 times higher zoom magnification. Quickly create custom graphs, charts, and infographics with Creative Cloud Charts. And now you can recover unsaved work when Illustrator crashes, so you’ll never lose a file again.

Adobe InDesign CC
Discover great images with the new Adobe Stock service and quickly add them to your designs by saving them to Creative Cloud Libraries and accessing them directly from InDesign. Share images, colors, brushes, character and paragraph styles and more between InDesign and other Creative Cloud desktop and mobile apps with improved Creative Cloud Libraries. Perform everyday tasks faster than ever with new Mercury Drawing Performance. Place images directly into cells of tables to create tables that have a combination of both text and graphics. And add color or shading to paragraphs.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC
Work with color and light in all new ways with the new Lumetri Color panel. Deliver more polished interviews by smoothing out jump cuts between sound bites with Morph Cut. Capture and assemble video wherever inspiration strikes you using Adobe Premiere Clip, and then step up to the full creative power of Adobe Premiere Pro. Deliver content that is the right duration without time-consuming micro-editing. As you adjust the length of your video, the new Time Tuner automatically adds or removes frames at scene changes, or in sections with still images or low visual activity.

Adobe Dreamweaver CC
Rapidly build and lay out production-ready websites that dynamically adapt to fit various screen sizes, making responsive design a part of your everyday workflow. Preview the appearance of your pages or test interactivity in real-time, so you can see how your design will look and adapt on an actual mobile browser. Quickly turn Photoshop comps into code-based designs with Extract. And work more efficiently with Code Editor tools like code completion, built-in validation, and site-management.

Connected mobile apps
The 2015 release introduces dozens of new innovations to the entire Creative Cloud ecosystem. New mobile apps Adobe Hue, Preview, and Comp make it even easier to capture inspiration and create from anywhere. Mobile apps Shape, Color, and Photoshop Mix are now available for Android. And the entire family of Creative Cloud mobile apps is now more connected than ever.
