Codex Keys™ is an extended keyboard-sized device sporting a full-color, high-resolution display, integrating with NLE functions and all ColorSynth features.

A sophisticated USB bus-powered control surface that will integrate with NLE functions and all of the colour controls of the module.

Codex Keys™is an extended keyboard-sized device that sports a full-colour, high-resolution display, six potentiometers and increment key sets, and more than forty full-colour LED backlit keys. The combination of Final Cut Pro with ColorSynth and Codex Keys™allows users the pristine comfort that professional colourists enjoy at a cost anyone can afford.

  • (6) pre-wired colour grading layers, each with toggle, lock, reset,and blend level.
  • (9) pre-wired colour grading sublayers with extensive Qualifier tools,engineered to accurately isolate colour bands as well as luminance ranges for Shadows, Mid-tones and Highlights).
  • Multiple instances of a film grade printer lights panel, with individua lcontrol over Red, Green and Blue exposure levels, global exposure,saturation and contrast.
  • Comprehensive video grade toolset, with Lift, Gamma, Gain and Offset of RGB and individual colour channels.
  • (3) Colour EQ nodes. The Master EQ works as a parametric audio EQ, with all the necessary permutations of Hue, Lightness and Saturation remapping. The 7-band EQ is a specialized tool designed to modify the hue, lightness and saturation of complex conditional colour qualities.The Colour Mixer allows super clean RGB-based remapping of (9) colour bands.
  • Shadows, Mid-tones and Highlights sublayers, each with a full set of Film and Video grading functions.
  • Colour Temperature controls across all nodes.
