A good addition to the C4D toolset

I have found this to be a great asset to have with C4D.. I go to the Metal and ManMade textures constantly. It's easy to search, easy to use, and saves a lot of work in finding the right texture for things… Even if it doesn't have the right one for what I need, I can often take a texture and adapt/build on to it to get me where I need. The textures generally apply pretty smoothly and I really have not run into a lot of issues with using them since I have had the kit.. Usually just tweaking the projection method or scale with correct an issue that might occur with applying a particular texture. I wish they had a "Building Materials" specific category with more of those types of textures… but other than that I have been pretty happy with the kit

Easy to Use, High Quality Procedural Textures

This kit contains a nice array of material types, including many procedural textures. It's a good place to start if you're looking to add some character to your models or animations but don't have a lot of time to experiment with textures. Like most GSG products it is easy to install and use. The only thing that I'd like to see different is maybe fewer variations on very similar looks. Some of the categories contain a handful of textures each that are nearly identical in appearance. I'd also like to see a larger proportion of editable, procedural textures as time goes on, making it even easier to customize looks... and expansion of the fabric, natural, and overlay categories.

Covered topic are joint rigging, mesh deformer, smoothing deformer, and pose morph tag.  Part 3 explains how to light, texture and animate for the final render.
