Flexible, cost-effective licensing programs for your organization
The Red Giant Floating Volume Subscription Program is a floating subscription license option for all suites. This is an affordable and flexible licensing program designed for teams with multiple motion graphics or visual effects artists, workstations, or even distributed geographic facilities. The Red Giant volume program relies on a central server with available seats to be
checked out by client machines on request.

Always Up to Date

Affordable

Predictable
Subscription pricing means that your licensing costs are predictable, which translates to simpler budgeting.
What is Red Giant Volume Floating Subscription Program?
In the past, Red Giant has relied on an in-house, serial number-based licensing scheme. It’s simple and easy to use, which works well for non-volume customers who only need to manage a few licenses. It can however be cumbersome in larger settings for all sorts of reasons including reliable license compliance as well as providing relevant data on the number of licenses used by an organization. For those reasons, Red Giant Volume Subscription Program will allow customers to manage their licenses more easily through the use of a floating license server model using a Reprise License Manager (RLM).
The RLM system is a floating license model that uses a server to allow client machines to “check out” licenses, as well as “check-in” licenses after they are finished being used. This makes sure that only the exact number of licenses that were purchased are being used at any one time. IT administrators can gather data on how many licenses are being used at any one time to ensure that they have adequate licenses in place.
