Freebie: Pilgway 3DCoatPrint
Pilgway Studio is happy to present 3DCoatPrint, a new FREE application designed to quickly create print-ready 3D models. 3DCoatPrint expands the lineup of 3DCoat-based products and is offered entirely for free for any, including commercial, use if the 3D models you create are intended to be 3D-Printed or for the creation of rendered images. Other uses may only be for personal non-profit activity.
3DCoatPrint is a compact studio with one primary goal, to let you create your models for 3D printing as easily as possible. Voxel technology allows you to do anything that is feasible in the real world without worrying too much about the technical aspects.
Tools integrated into 3DCoatPrint allow the users to:
- Use all Voxel Modeling and 3DCoat render inside
- Make 3D models starting from primitives
- Work with digital clay as plasticine using various brushes
- Cut off unnecessary parts to quickly get the desired form
- Import and view DICOM files (not for medical use). You can change and save the models in .stl and .wrl formats.
- Create 3D Print supports for the models
- Available for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Spotlight on Pilgway Studio
We featured Pilgway Studio a couple of months ago on our blog. They are a 3D software company based in and operating out of Ukraine.
Take your 3D idea from a block of digital clay to a production-ready, fully-textured organic or hard surface model
Pilgway Studio 3DCoat is an extremely versatile application, employing cutting-edge technology to provide the CG Artist a powerful array of Sculpting, Texture Painting, UV Layout, and Retopology tools.
3DCoat is one of the most advanced software applications for creating detailed 3D models. Where other applications in this market segment tend to specialize in one specific task, such as Digital Sculpting or Texture Painting, 3DCoat provides High-End capability across multiple tasks in an asset creation pipeline. These include Sculpting, Retopology, UV Editing, PBR Texture Painting, and Rendering. So it can be called a 3D texturing software and 3D texture painting software and 3D sculpting program and Retopology software and UV mapping software and 3D rendering software all combined.
In short, 3DCoat removes the need to purchase (and learn) multiple specialty software titles, which happen to be comparatively expensive, by putting all the production-level tools in a single, affordable application.
