Midweek Motivations: Designs In Air Inflatable Sculptures

When we come across a novel use of software that is available at Toolfarm.com, we just want to share it! Designs in Air creates incredible inflatable sculptures for events all over the world. We learned about them through this tweet from NPower Software. Below, check out some video of the work from Designs in Air. In addition, there is information on nPower Power Surfacing for SolidWorks.
First, the Tweet:
We are constantly impressed by the stunning inflatable sculptures that designer Pete Hamilton creates at his company, Designs In Air. 🎈
So proud that Pete used our Power Surfacing product on this project as well! — A beautiful creation from the “gecko” (and the get-go! 😜) pic.twitter.com/vKeJXMuUIf

Bringing the power of organic SubD modeling to SolidWorks!
Power Surfacing is a revolutionary SOLIDWORKS® industrial design add-in that will fundamentally change the way that engineers and designers design parts in SOLIDWORKS®. Power Surfacing makes it easy and fun to design complex free form aesthetically pleasing Class A surfaces in SOLIDWORKS®. No longer will you have to fight with patching a set of trimmed surfaces together to form complex curved shapes; manipulating Power Surfacing parts is as simple as modeling with clay. With the release of Version 4.1 we have turned our Power Body objects into macro features so that they behave more like typical SOLIDWORKS® features, and they can be created and edited directly from SOLIDWORKS® assemblies. And you can now easily use Power Surfacing bodies as instances or references.
