What is Keyframes & Kegs?

An ongoing, free event series from your pals at Demo Duck, a video production company located in Chicago. Keyframes & Kegs is an opportunity for Chicago video and motion-based makers to network, share their work and commiserate over a couple adult beverages.

Date and Time

Thursday, October 24, 2019  from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM CDT

Low Res Studio
1821 West Hubbard Street
Chicago, IL 60622

The theme of this event is Monster Projects.

A Monster Project is one that is epicly big. A true behemoth. Either in scope, scale, budget, rounds of revisions — whatever the type of monster, it’s all-consuming for a time.

But monsters aren’t all bad. They’re just complicated. Big. Hairy. Maybe a little nasty at times, but ultimately once you’ve figured out how to tame them, you’re better for it. We love our monsters. They’re the projects that define us.

Demo Duck is inviting Chicago video and motion makers to share professional (or personal) projects that were big and beastly.

Five creatives, or creative teams, will be selected to present the behind-the-scenes of their Monster Project. We’ll hear how they managed to tame their beast of a project and what they learned along the way.
