Review: The Big Review: PreSonus Studio One 5 by MusicTech

This review from Matthew Mann at MusicTech gives Studio One 5 a whopping 10/10! He talks a lot about the user interface and workflow. He also talks about how he makes arrangements with a tool based on PreSonus’s Notion compositional software. He talks about the key features and even shows some alternatives, which is uncommon in a review.
Sporting all the features of its more expensive competitors, especially when it comes to composition and live performance, Studio One 5 might make a lot of sense for many home and semi-pro producers with tighter purse strings. With the option to start with Studio One’s lite versions Prime and Artist before adding additional features as required, this is a modular experience that should prove attractive to newer users. Make it work for you.

If you’re a music producer, you may already know that PreSonus Studio One 5.5 was released recently. My husband is a Studio One user, so I know about the love of the tool. What’s cool about the software is that they have a massive user base. The forums have lots of experienced users, so if you run into a problem, it’s easy to get help.
