Midweek Motivations: SXSW 2021 Film Awards: Title Design Finalists

The Art of the Title has compiled a list of the SXSW Title Design Competition, which is fully online again this year. The SXSW 2021 Film Festival will take place March 16-20, 2021. Incidentally, there is only half the number of entries as in 2020.

The Queen’s Gambit Main Title by Saskia Marka

Very different from most TV shows that are currently airing. I loved the series and the titles have a unique style.

DICHOS Title Sequence by Gwenaëlle Gobé

I love the style. It’s fun, colorful, and simple.

The Botanist by Samplistic

Very pretty. It reminds me of old nature books and handwritten recipe cards.
