Toolfarm Throwback: Interview with Video Copilot on Element 3D Launch Day
On July 10, 2012, I went to the Video Copilot Headquarters in Lake Elsinore, CA. I met the whole team that works behind Andrew Kramer, as they waited for the launch of Element 3D. I talk with Matt Kramer, Bryan Burkhardt, Dustin Hudson, Bobby Hommel, and, of course, Tino Hertz. Since we have a fantastic Video Copilot sale on right now, it seemed like a good time to share it!
If you are not familiar with Video Copilot Element 3D, it is a 3D object based plug-in for Adobe After Effects that allows for the import of C4D and OBJ files into a powerful, robust particle animation system. They explain Element 3D in the interview and how the plugin came about. It was a huge launch, and a very hot day but everyone was so calm! Thanks to the crew at Video Copilot for the interview, the hospitality, and the great memories! This is two parts, so make sure you watch them both.
