Update: Laubwerk Plants Kit v1.0.37 – Adds 3ds Max 2022 Support
Laubwerk has updated its plants kit player to v1.0.37, adding support for 3ds Max 2022, as well as some various enhancements and bug fixes.
Laubwerk Plants Kits
Laubwerk Plants Kits enable architects, CG artists, and VFX specialists to insert photo-realistic tree models into their 3D scenes quickly and easily, avoiding the usual slowdowns from overly complicated parameters or excess memory usage. Laubwerk makes this possible by providing just the right amount of options in their 3D tree models, without overwhelming the user or their computer. Each tree model comes in three shapes, with three ages, and four seasons per shape. Adjustable detail level settings mean that each tree looks great without slow navigation or long rendering times.
Choose from 15 different Kits with 10 plants each.
Highlights of the Laubwerk Player 1.0.37 update include:
- Added support for Autodesk 3ds Max 2022
- Updated and expanded the help for our SketchUp Player
- Fixed mesh errors affecting a few plants
- Fixed a bug with V-Ray 2 rendering in SketchUp
- Various material enhancements
- Miscellaneous other bug fixes
To get the updates, sign in to your Laubwerk account page and download fresh installers for one of your Plants Kits, such as the Plants Kit Freebie. Windows users should make sure to uninstall previous versions of the Laubwerk Player plugin before running the new installer.
Note for V‑Ray for Cinema 4D customers:
Both the Laubwerk Player and SurfaceSPREAD do not yet work with V‑Ray 5 for Cinema 4D. With V‑Ray 5, Chaos Group released a very powerful upgrade, but it contains major changes that broke a few things here and there. Laubwerk is currently working closely with Chaos Group to ensure Laubwerk and V‑Ray 5 for Cinema 4D continue to work well together. Please stay tuned!
