What’s new in Lightwave 2020.0.1?
LightWave 3D® 2020.0.1 is available now in the Registration system as a free update for registered LightWave™ 2020 users.
This update introduces and fixes many things found by our internal testers during the production of 2020, and many that have been found by you, our end customers. Thank you for those, it’s because of thoughtful and helpful users like you – that take the time to communicate to us the issues that you’re having, that helps us make a better LightWave for you.
These include OpenGL performance fixes, rendering speed improvements, Lights and SSS improvements, and a new faster way for MIS to be accelerated.
Not to mention a raft of bug fixes, and feature requests. Also included in 2020.0.1 is support for the Unreal Engine build 4.25, and update for 4.24. This has also been made as a ‘hot fix’ download for registered 2019 owners in addition.
As a thank you – all users of 2020 trials will be reset. You will want to download 2020.0.1 and re-register for a new trial key, but it will give you a new fresh 30 day time limit.
