Soundtoys update v5.3.7
We’re excited to announce the release of Soundtoys version 5.3.7 with native Apple silicon support for Audio Units and VST 2 formats.
Known Issues and Notes
- The minimum version of Logic Pro for native Apple silicon is 10.7.3. Please make sure to update your version of Logic.
- Switching presets in Logic’s built-in preset manager may cause instability with Effect Rack. Using our internal preset manager should be fine.
VST 3 Info
Steinberg recently released Cubase 12 with native Apple silicon support. The Apple silicon native version of Cubase no longer supports VST 2 plug-ins, and will only run VST 3 plug-ins. We are currently finalizing the VST 3 versions of our plug-ins and expect to have them available for public beta very soon. In the meantime, you can still use Soundtoys plug-ins with Cubase on an M1 machine. Simply make sure to run Cubase using Rosetta 2. See this support article for instructions on enabling Rosetta 2.
Effects as Powerful as Your Imagination
Soundtoys 5 brings together our entire range of audio effects into one powerful collection. Includes all 21 Soundtoys plug-ins.
Saturate, compress, and distort with Decapitator, Radiator, and Devil-Loc. Get a virtual history of echo and delay hardware with EchoBoy and PrimalTap. Transform your vocals with Little AlterBoy. Recreate classic studio pitch, chorus, and widening effects with Crystallizer and MicroShift. Take modulation to new levels with the beat-synced rhythmic effects of PanMan, Tremolator, FilterFreak, and PhaseMistress.
All of these individual elements are proven, powerful tools, trusted by professional mix engineers, musicians, and sound designers everywhere. But combined in the new Soundtoys Effect Rack, they are indeed the ultimate effects collection.
