Update: Joysticks ‘n Sliders v1.5 for After Effects – Now with BodyMovin’
This update to Joysticks ‘n Sliders adds several new features, including BodyMovin’ which allows you to export your rig to the web. This update is free to existing users.
Joysticks 'n Sliders is a posed based rigging system for Adobe After Effects.
Joystick controllers are commonly used in 3D character rigging for facial animation. With this tool, you simply set five consecutive keyframes to represent your origin, right, left, top, and bottom extremes. With those layers selected, you can instantly create a joystick controller on the stage that will interpolate between those extremes appropriately.
What's new in version 1.5?
- Brand new UI layout
- Control the easing of individual layers with Joystick EaseBias, to finesse the motion of your rig and push the illusion of parallax.*
- Setup your pathshape rigging faster with the Path Flipper to mirror your pathshapes in an interpolation-friendly way.
- Controllers that have been moved to a parent composition can now easily be moved back to their child compositions.
