MODO, MARI and NUKE Project for Beginners
A Bit About NUKE, MODO, and MARI
Let me start off by saying that I learned NUKE, MODO, and MARI last summer and they are all excellent tools. I especially enjoyed using NUKE. It's a lot of fun to use and so powerful! After I got over the hump of using a node-based tool, as opposed to the time line-based tool that I had been so used to, it was a breeze.
The Foundry NUKE
Award-winning, state-of-the-art NUKE is considered to be “The World's Most Powerful Node Based Compositor”. It was designed to streamline day-to-day workflow and ensure the highest quality results fast.

An end-to-end solution delivering raw horsepower, refined technology and robust workflows, MODO is the creative option of choice for artists and designers around the world – from home-based hobbyists to Hollywood studios.
The cutting-edge 3D paint tool gives artists a fluid and flexible way to paint directly onto 3D models – meaning more time spent painting and less time managing technical issues. Supported by the world’s most advanced layering system, MARI is capable of handling high-resolution textures and millions of polygons without ever compromising on speed or efficiency.
