• Pro Import AE upgrade - If you are using Pro Import AE 3.0, you can import XML 1.0 files from FCP 4.1 or later, including FCP 5.1.x. But if you're using Pro Import AE 2.0 or even the old ACI FCP plug-in, you cannot use it with FCP 5.1 and later. PIAE 2 used a "free OMF export" plug-in to get out of FCP, and that plug-in will not work in FCP 5.1 or later. Users of Pro Import AE 2.0 or earlier can upgrade for $195.
