Description

Boris Title Toolkit is a set of dynamic plug-ins that allow you to animate broadcast-quality titles directly in the After Effects user interface. Create, position, and move titles and vector graphic elements in 3D space with features like Text On a Path, Type On, and Motion Blur. Title Toolkit also provides a variety of ways to randomize, jitter and scramble text characters and text styles, build vector shapes that can link to text, create film-quality rolls and crawls, animate text fill, borders, softness, and shadows, and link to built-in After Effects or third-party parameters. Broadcast-quality title animation has never been easier in After Effects.

Title Toolkit Filters

VectorText - Create text with animatable borders, fill, softness, and shadows within the Effects Controls and Timeline windows. You can then place text on a path, rotate and move it in 3D space, or animate text on or off the screen by character, by word, or by line.

Text Scrambler - Randomize or scramble text or text styles and animate fields of random text or numbers including animating to and from random text and user defined text.

Title Crawl - Create automated roll or crawl animation with built-in options for hard or soft masks. Maintain defined pixels per second speed. 3D rotation control provides easy creation of "Star Wars" type perspective effects.

Vector Shape - Build shapes for text backdrops and vector graphic elements using preset shape primitives with multiple animatable parameters or use an After Effects mask to define the shape. Apply sophisticated border and shadow styles. Use an alternate layer as a texture map or video fill. Easily rotate, position, and animate your shape in 3D space.

Features

Animation - Delivers fully animatable titles in Adobe After Effects using a comprehensive selection of styles and text paths. You can use After Effects parameters for direct manipulation, synchronizing to third party elements such as audio and effect elements in your composition.

Quality - Vector rendering provides film-quality text styles with scaling and rotation in 3D space. Precisely control text appearance, placement, and movement over time.

Workflow - As an After Effects user, you can work quickly and efficiently in a familiar environment. Manipulate After Effects controls directly and work within the Effect Controls and Timeline windows. The Boris Text window, Gradient Editor and Style Palette are integrated to enable quick access to Title Toolkit's versatile text style and page layout features. Since the workflow is non-destructive, text characters, style, and layout can be changed at any time without losing style or animation.

Text Window - The Text window enables text entry and controls for adjusting text style elements including Fill, Borders and Shadows. It also provides controls for word wrap, setting tabs, page width and justification, adjusting line leading and text kerning, and importing ASCII or RTF text files. Text style options include bevel borders, gradient fills, simulated extrusion and embossing.

Style Palette - The Style Palette includes a Font Browser and provides a convenient way to save and apply custom or preset text styles, gradients, and colors (all of which can be applied on a per character basis). The text engine for the Title Toolkit provides vector-based rendering, enabling extremely high quality gradient style elements and sharp edge quality when increasing scale or zooming in on text characters.
