Description

FinalFocus gives the Depth of field to layered images. It gives amazingly natural focal effects to layered images which are taken separately as if they were originally taken together. Even transparent and translusent objects, such as splashing water, water drops, underwater and flames can be naturally filtered. Also, Final Focus is able to filter the tiny objects (like wire netting) in the foreground which IrisFilter could not do. You don't have to worry about the focus when you take source pictures or video for your work. All you need to do is to take panfocused pictures. Final Focus puts them into DOF world and finish the composite as if everything were taken by a single real film camera. Even CG generated images can be fused into the composite very naturally. No distance map needed that had been essential thing in 3D software. (use IrisFitler4 if you still want to express DOF with distance map.) With Final Focus, you can make huge difference in commercials, music videos, video games and animation.

Film

You can experience the natural perspectives and spaces in your composite as if all the pictures were taken by a single film camera at once even if real pictures and CG generated images are combined. Catch the audience's eyes as you desired with the focus following feature. No necessity to go on location again and again! Besides, FinalFocus renders objects one by one, which helps shorten the rendering time tremendously in 3D CG.

CM

In commercial production, it is essential to put a huge focus on the featured products. FinalFocus let you give exaggirated but still natural focal effect to the products. You can also re-create movie data taken with DOF very deep by HD camera to the one with natural and soft DOF expression like 35mm film camera.

Video Games

WIth FinalFocus, you will infuse bood into flat CG images with real DOF expression. You can shorten the rendering time by rendering one by one and finish with !FinalFocus by giving the final DOF expression to the images.

Animation

As easy as (or even more) the multiplane camera you have been using, FinalFocus let you follow the focus in your composite. For those "genuine" animation creators who have been frustrated with the muddiness of Blur effect of many video composite software.

VJ

FinalFocus gives various spaces into line arts and typographies. The new DOF feature that renders even translusent and transparent objects realizes the infinite space.

Distance setting between Cels

You can set distances between cels (0-255). The default number of cel is 10 and you can use up to 21.

Focal Setting

You can adjust the focal poiont wherever you want and DOF is set accordingly.

Light Reflection

Realizes the natural reflection of lights. By adjusting the distance between layers (objects), the lights reflect as naturally as those between objects in real world.

Bokeh Amount Adjustment

The amount of Bokeh is basically set according to where you set the focal point, but if you want to put more emphasis or less you can adjust the Bokeh amount layer by layer separately.

Aperture Shapes FinalFocus has choices of lens aperture shapes from triangle to octagon and circle shape. This feature lets you even represent the real tastes of real camera lenses.

Exposure

Sets exposure speed to film to adjust the brightness. The quality is totally different from brightness adjustment in photo-video editing softwares.

Film Hardness

Sets the film hardness, which affects the softness of Bokeh.
