Description
Our sub-pixel quality Blur is extremely fast and unusually it is unaffected by image size and being sub-pixel it can be smoothly animated over time. It comes with a host of added features for blending images and a sharpen option. If you are looking to create a ripple effect try Droplet. Eliminate luminance variations with Deflicker and use our sophisticated Degrain solution for removing noise and grain, whilst retaining image detail. Create works of art with Etch or enhance images with !HeatHaze and light Rays. Bulge an image with Lens. Use the highly customisable Pattern for creating a variety of wipe patterns. Distorto is an absolute gem of a plug-in that is used extensively in post production to create and control the distortions seen in reflected objects. Opt for our simulated lens filter, Starburst to add sparkles and highlights. Gain access to a really flexible suite of realistic evolving Sky effects.
List of Plug-ins
- Beam - Draws a spotlight in 3D space. The position of the light source can be animated and the beam can be rotated in all directions. The beam can either be composited with the source image or used to generate a new image.
- Blur - is a time constant sub-pixel gaussian blur. It is very fast at large and small blurs and being sub-pixel can be smoothly animated over time. It can operate on the whole image, individual colour components or the luminance. It can also be used to sharpen the image.
- Caustic - simulates the patterns created when light rays are reflected or refracted by a curved surface. Caustics can often be seen at the bottom of a swimming pool in bright sunlight. It is often used with logical operators to produce an organic breakup of mattes.
- Deflicker - is a fully automated plug-in that removes global colour or luminance flicker from a clip.
- Degrain - removes grain and noise whilst retaining image detail. The algorithm is based on a hybrid median filter that analyses a neighbourhood of pixels and sets the centre pixel to the median value of that region.
- Diffuse - scatters pixels in an image.
- DirBlur - smears pixels in a particular direction. Tracking information can be used to automatically set the amount and direction of blur to simulate motion on fast moving objects.
- Distorto - deforms one clip using the luminance of another. This is a gem of a plug-in that is extensively used in post-production to fake and control the distortions seen in reflected objects.
- Droplet - is a single droplet ripple effect with amplitude, wavelength, phase, speed and other controls.
- Etch - simulates a hand drawn picture using charcoals. Lines are drawn along edges and cross hatching is used to fill in regions.
- Grad - renders colour gradients. Directional, circular, radial and polygonal gradients can be created.
- HeatHaze - simulates the layered rippling distortion that is characteristic of viewing images through hot air.
- Lens - is a distorting plug-in that creates a fish-eye lens effect. The bulge can be applied into or out of the image.
- Pattern - generates a wide variety of wipe patterns with softness, scaling and rotation controls to customise the effect.
- Rays - creates a backlit light ray effect. The rays are sourced from selected areas of the image=92s luminance or matte. The colour of the rays can come from the source image or a fixed colour.
- Sky - generates realistic evolving skies. There are controls for the 3D camera position, clouds, sun, haze, fog, atmosphere and sun flares with numerous presets to get you started.
- Starburst - is a simulated lens filter that adds sparkles to highlights. Includes parameters to change number of rays, rotation and luma clip levels.
- Tile - translates, scales, rotates and shears clips with edge controls to provide repeating patterns.
