Description
Check out LensBlur for simulating the true defocusing characteristics of a camera, it comes with a bunch of parameters to control the shape of the camera diaphragm, highlight blooming and chromatic aberration and it's very, very fast. Apply a half tone look with Newsprint. Render the brightest 9000 stars visible from Earth with NightSky or simulate viewing images through a layer of distorting Glass. Give images a hand painted acrylic look with Paint, it comes with a host of parameters to fine-tune paint style, brush width, softness, smearing and more. Crash zoom with RadialBlur or distort your image with Ripple and Swirl. Our highly customisable Lensflare comes with controls for the bright spot, light rays, polygonal lens inter-reflections and much more.
List of Plug-ins
- Bandlimit - converts an image into Fourier space, removes or keeps user specified frequencies, then converts it back into an image giving very stylised results.
- Blob - renders smoothly shaded blobs that gloop together when they get close to one another.
- BlurMasked - takes an image and a matte and blurs the image based on values in the matte. In some circumstances it can be used to simulate depth of field.
- Chromatic - blurs and separates the colour components of an image to simulate the colour fringing seen when light is refracted through poor quality lenses.
- Contour - draws closed lines along pixels with similar luminance. The result can be blended back into the original image.
- Glass - gives the impression of viewing an image through a layer of distorting glass.
- Glow - applies a glow effect to the image. Neon and other looks are possible.
- Grain - adds noise to images to simulate grain. A luminance curve is provided to reduce the amount of grain added in the shadows and highlights.
- LensBlur - simulates the true defocussing characteristics of a camera lens to give realistic focus pulls. It includes controls for the shape of the camera diaphragm, highlight blooming and chromatic aberration. It's fast too. Very fast.
- LensFlare - generates realistic and highly customisable lens flares. There are controls for the bright spot, light rays, polygonal lens inter-reflections and much more.
- Newsprint - converts images into their constituent dots patterns that are characteristic of printed material. There are three different print methods - Two Tone, CMY and RGB.
- NightSky - renders the brightest 9000 stars visible from Earth. It uses real data so you get to see the constellations in their correct positions and with their correct colour. A dozen presets display the constellations.
- Paint - processes an image into one that looks as though it had be painted with acrylic paints. The brush width, softness, stroke lengths, smearing and more can be animated and customised to give a huge variety of paint styles from stippled brush effects to broad, sweeping paint smears.
- PseudoColour - creates a false colour look by mapping the luminance of an image through a colour gradient.
- RadialBlur - smears pixels in all directions from a point or circumference of a circle. They are often used to simulate crash zooms or light rays.
- Ripple - is a distorting plug-in that simulates linear waves.
- Swirl - distorts an image around a point. Two algorithms are provided, swirl and vortex.
- Wobble - applies camera shake with motion blur to a clip.
