Trapcode

Trapcode makes software for visual effects and motion graphics. The focus is on creating robust, user friendly, affordable and versatile products.

Trapcode has seven products: Trapcode Shine, Trapcode 3D Stroke, Trapcode Sound Keys, Trapcode Starglow, Trapcode Echospace, Trapcode Lux and Trapcode Particular. All are plug-ins for Adobe After Effects. New products are continously developed.

Trapcode is a privately held Aktiebolag (AB) based in Sweden. Founded and operated by Peder Norrby.

Trapcode 3D Stroke - Uses path from one or more masks to render volumetric strokes that can be rotated and moved freely in 3D space.
Trapcode Echospace - Create multiple instances of 3D layers in space.
Trapcode Lux - Simulates the phenomena of light reflection in a sparse medium, also known as "visible light".
Trapcode Particular - A powerful 3D particle system that can produce a wide range of effects from natural smoke and explosions to geometric or organic abstract motion graphics design elements.
Trapcode Shine - A fast light effect that looks very much like volumetric light, but is actually a 2D effect.
Trapcode Sound Keys - Visually selectic a range in the audio spectrum and convert the audio energy in the selected frequencies to a stream of keyframes
Trapcode Starglow - Creates a star-shaped glow around the highlights of the source.
Trapcode Form - Create fluid, smoke, organic and also geometric mezmerizingly moving 3D patterns that can easily be integrated with other graphics.
Trapcode Horizon - Create ultra-realistic environments by using Trapcode Horizon to wrap sphere maps, panoramas or video around the After Effects world.
