Update: Grass Valley EDIUS v11.11 – Speed Enhancements, Sony BURANO Support & More

The latest update (11.11.14138) to Grass Valley EDIUS once again enhances the UI (User Interface) speed for operations like working in the EDIUS timeline or multifile operations in Mync.  In addition, there are updates regarding the Sony BURANO support, broader MXF support, and more. The update also includes bug fixes.

What’s new in EDIUS 11.11.14138?

This update to EDIUS 11 version 11. 11.14138 enhances the UI (User Interface) speed significantly, making the workflow on the EDIUS timeline and processes with multiple clips in Mync even faster. In addition, there are updates regarding the support of the latest version of the Sony BURANO Camera, as well as extended MXF and MP4 file support and more. The update also includes some bug fixes.

New Features

EDIUS

• Improved UI response
• Added a progress bar to show progress if a project takes a long time to be opened
• Changed all contents of MXF/GXF exporter preset files to human-readable JSON text to allow SDK users to build MXF/GXF exporter presets without EDIUS
  * Old preset files are still available.
  * Older builds of EDIUS cannot import preset files which have the new format.
  * New MXF/GXF exporter presets do not preserve destination path information that was previously preserved only in these presets till now. This change is temporary. In the future, all exporter presets will be able to include destination path information.
