Nice 3D effects

I generally use another product, but this one is nicely tucked into AE and makes it a first stop...sometimes only stop when needing some "extrusion".

Outstanding Plugin of the Trapcode Suite

Trapcode 3D Stroke includes 40 presets, shapes and lines that are very useful to serve as an inspiration. It took some time to get familiar with the extensive set of controls in FCP to create complex motion and fluidity – but it works great. I am a satisfied customer and will continue to buy more of the Trapcode Suite.

Great tool, hampered only by After Effects' tricky 3D engine

3D Stroke enables the designer to deliver really killer broadcast-quality stroke effects with tons of energy in practically no time at all. Its settings are really easy to get acquainted with so you'll be up and running immediately. Honestly my only trouble with Stroke has been how tough it is to work through After Effects' faux-3D environment. Since 3D Stroke relies heavily on layer masks, which aren't inherently 3D, sometimes I find interacting with my 3D Stroke layers to be challenging. For what the AE environment allows us, however, 3D Stroke does an admirable job extending the designer's toolkit!
