System Requirements
- Supported platforms: Katana® versions 2.5, 2.6, 3.0 and 3.1.
- Supported on Linux 64-bit CentOS/RHEL 6 and Windows 7 64-bit.
Hardware Requirements
Please make sure that your system fulfills these requirements before installing V-Ray.
- Processor – Intel ® Pentium ® IV or compatible processor with SSE3 support.
- RAM – 4 GB RAM and 4 GB swap minimum – recommended 8 GB or more RAM, 8 GB or more swap file
- USB Port – Required for hardware lock, preferably USB 2.0
- TCP/IP – Only IPv4 is supported. IPv6 is currently not supported
Licensing Policy
V-Ray Next for Katana will be available as a rental license only (annual and monthly). V-Ray Next for Katana is based on the V-Ray Next core and will be using universal V-Ray Next Render Node licenses.
Note: V-Ray Next for Katana will work with V-Ray Next Render Node licenses
